What is a mobile EV charging station?

The new energy vehicle industry is developing rapidly, but the number of charging stations is very small compared to that of new energy vehicles. Fixed charging stations cannot meet the huge demand, nor can they cope with the urgent need for electricity during driving.

To solve the problem of difficult charging of electric vehicles, mobile charging may be one of the very effective solutions. At present, the global electric vehicle market continues to grow rapidly. As the basic service facility for electric vehicles, the development and construction of EV charging stations is the most critical part of it. ISPACE’s products can achieve full-scene coverage, provide users with a high-quality charging experience, and fill the market gap in this field.

Due to its compact size, “mobile charging stations” can be installed almost wherever needed, even where the charging infrastructure is not yet in place. When connected to the low-voltage power grid, the mobile charging station becomes a permanent charging station. Compared with fixed fast charging stations, this charging station does not require additional cost and construction effort.

The built-in battery pack can store buffered electrical energy, which means it can be disconnected from the grid. This can alleviate the pressure on the power grid (especially during peak power consumption periods). If the electricity generated by renewable energy is fed into the charging station and temporarily stored there, the charging station can achieve “carbon neutral” operation.

In order to ensure the sustainable use of valuable resources, charging stations will also use old batteries of electric vehicles as energy accumulators in the future. Thanks to fast charging technology, the charging power of electric vehicles can be as high as 150 kilowatts.
